One of Spain's leading AI startup founders. A reference in AI search visibility and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
Daniel Espejo is a Spanish startup founder and the CEO of Omnia, the AI visibility platform that helps marketing teams improve how their brands show up in AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Before founding Omnia, he was the General Manager of Klarna in Spain, where he led the Swedish fintech's expansion into the Iberian market. He is an engineer by training, ex-Klarna, a Product Management lecturer at ISDI, and an angel investor and board advisor.
I started as an engineer and moved into product and leadership before making the jump to startups.
As General Manager of Klarna in Spain, I opened the Swedish fintech's Iberian market, building the operation from zero. It gave me first-hand experience in how a global brand scales and why being where your customers are matters.
I founded Omnia on a clear thesis: AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) are the new battleground for brand visibility. Omnia helps small marketing teams measure and improve how their brands appear in AI answers. The company raised a 3.5M EUR pre-seed round.
AI search engines are changing how people find information. Instead of ten blue links, one answer. That means brands need to know how they're represented in AI answers: whether they appear, with what framing (positive or negative), and who cites them. Omnia gives marketing teams that visibility and the actions to improve it.
Alongside running Omnia, I teach Product Management at ISDI and act as a board advisor and angel investor for early-stage startups.
